The DJEC team has transitioned to working remotely to continue the work of The Journal. However, due to the COVID19 situation (social distancing). Our physical location is closed until further notice, as well as our dialogue sessions.

In the interim, we’ve created @ Issue, our online digital platform that continues our commitment to on-going dialogue. We’re also working hard to ensure our work is inclusive and accessible to everyone.

In this 5-part series, we follow Chief Writer Allan Tellis, as he explores the ways that the global COVID-19 pandemic is producing unique local impacts in the Denver region. In this first report, we learn about the ways many Denver-area parents are adjusting to the pause in public education as they’ve known it as schools have moved to remote learning.
